Bro. Curtis McGehee will be in revival at First Baptist Church October 16-19th. McGehee presently serves as Muhlenberg County Sheriff and has served in this capacity for six years. He is also involved in itinerant ministry and does pulpit supply for churches on a weekly basis.

The Butler County Republican Party will he hosting a Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner Friday October 28 at 6:00. It will be held at the Eva Hawes Agriculture Building. Commissioner of Agriculture Ryan Quarles will be the keynote speaker for the night with State Treasurer Allison Ball speaking as well.

On Saturday, October 8th a benefit was held by White Ridge Church to help pay the medical and funeral expenses of Inis Marie Swift. The day also marked Buddy and Inis’ wedding anniversary.

This weekend marked the first Aberdeen Trading Days and the event went well according to organizers. "We had around 40 vendors set up around Aberdeen Trading Post this weekend," said Joyce Brooks. "This will be an annual event if not more often."

The annual Provo Cruise-in is an October event that many always anticipate. Good friends, cool classic vehicles, food, games, door prizes, and, if fortunate enough, beautiful weather. Provo was certainly lucky enough for all of that on Saturday, October 8.

The American Legion Post 151 wanted to remind all veterans whom have served in the US Armed Forces to file their DD-214 with the County Clerk's office. Upon your death, every Veteran is entitled to a US FLAG and VA MARKER.
