Ruda Mae Cook "Rudie" Deweese, age 98 of Glasgow, KY formerly of Aberdeen, KY passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024 at her daughter's home in Glasgow, KY.  She was born on Friday, May 8, 1925 in Ohio County, KY and the youngest of three children to the late Joseph Estil and Anna Jane Cook.  Rudie married William Paul Deweese on August 22, 1942 and they celebrated 57 years together. She was a WWII military wife who then spent most of her married life alongside Paul and their children working the farm of Eden School Road in Aberdeen, KY.

Derrick Jamaal Williams, 39, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born July 13, 1984 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to Garnett and Sherry Russ Williams. Derrick was a 2002 graduate of Butler County High School and he worked as a CNA at Signature Healthcare of Hartford. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his boys. Derrick loved hunting, fishing, sports and the Dallas Cowboys. He was dedicated to his job and adored his residents at the nursing home.

Sandra Dee Lindsey, age 54 of Sunfish, departed this life at her residence, with her family by her side on Saturday, February 17, 2024.  The Warren County native was born on February 22, 1969 to the late Charles Lindsey and Helen Mae Embry.  She was married to her soul mate and loving husband of thirty-seven years, Rodney Lindsey, who survives.  

Norma Sue Drake, 81, of Bowling Green passed away, Monday February 12, 2024 at her residence. She was a native of Butler Co. and born January 17, 1943. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Drake, and a brother Harold McKinney.

Norma was retired from Sumitomo and a faithful member of Forest Park Baptist Church since 1996. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

Rayburn D. Grubb, age 88 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, February 12, 2024 at his residence. Rayburn was born on Wednesday, November 13, 1935 in the South Hill community of Butler County, KY to the union of the late Omer and Nora Andrews Grubb. He was a member of Richland Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Emerson Electric in Russellville, KY. Rayburn enjoyed woodworking and farming.

Edra "Dean" Ragland, age 92 of Fairland, Indiana passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at her residence. Dean was born on Saturday, September 26, 1931 in the South Hill community of Butler County, KY to the union of the late Omer and Nora Andrews Grubb. She was a member of Fairland Baptist Church and she retired from Specialty Connector Company in  Franklin, Indiana. She enjoyed sewing and cooking but most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Sharon D. Jones, age 63 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024 at her residence. She was born on Saturday, July 16, 1960 in Morgantown, KY. Sharon was preceded in death by her mother Barbara N. Hunt and father James D. Hunt. She was a member of Crossland Community Church, she loved listening to gospel music and spending time with her family. Sharon was a very kind and giving person, she loved her son Chris and her two granddaughters with all her heart.

Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Arnold age 80 of Morgantown KY, passed away on the 28th day of January 2024 at the Hospice House of Southern KY. Betty was born in Detroit Michigan on the 19th day of September 1943 to the union of the late Edward J. and Edna E. Zilz Malicke. She was a member of Morgantown First Baptist Church and a 48 year member of AA. Betty retired from Sumitomo Electric and she enjoyed reading, shopping online, watching TV and eating at Texas Roadhouse. She loved spending time with the grandchildren, talking with friends and driving around looking at the landscape.

Jonell Greathouse, age 72, of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Jonell was born on Sunday, September 16, 1951 in Bowling Green, KY to the union of the late Clemmit and Levi Booth Woosley and wife of the late Glendon Wayne Greathouse. She was a member of Richland Missionary Baptist Church and she retired from The Kellwood Company. Jonell enjoyed reading, gardening and her dogs. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by three siblings Randall, Donnie and Flossie Woosley.

Martha Sue Burden, age 79 of Morgantown, KY passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, Monday, February 5, 2024 at her residence. Sue was born on Sunday, July 9, 1944 in Louisville, KY to the union of the late Ernest Franklin and Gladys Mae Cook Scott and wife of the late Jondal Tony Burden. Sue was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening, working in her yard and watching Westerns. She was very loved and cherished. Although she never had children of her own, she was like a mother to all.
