“God knew what he was doing when he made animals,” Kim Arnold could be heard telling one of the residents at Morgantown Care and Rehabilitation on Saturday.  At the time, the wheelchair-bound resident she was assisting was nuzzling the mane of a small pony, which was part of a therapeutic interaction with horses that took place at the center on Saturday, October 29th.

The Butler County Chapter of the NSDAR is proud to recognize Roger Dale Worley as Veteran of the Year for 2022.

Roger was born in Leitchfield, KY, on September 13, 1948. He graduated from Ohio County High School in 1966 and attended the University of Evansville for one year. He entered the United States Army on December 13, 1968. 

He completed his training at Fort Knox on Armored Personnel Carriers to serve as a Mechanized Infantryman. Roger arrived in Vietnam on May 21, 1969. He was assigned to the 39th Infantry Platoon in the 9th Infantry Division. The experimental unit consisted of only three amphibious war machines known as Hovercrafts on Air Cushion Vehicles or A.C.V.s for short.

She is the daughter of Amy & Barry Frazier of Bowling Green

She is being escorted tonight by her parents. 

After graduation, Autumn plans to attend Western Kentucky University to pursue a degree in Elementary Education.
