Butler County Chapter NSDAR Observes Constitution Week

Blake Bratcher and Case Hooten

The Butler County Chapter NSDAR had as guest speakers for their September meeting Blake Bratcher and Case Hooten. The students told of their recent experiences serving as pages at the Kentucky State Capitol in Frankfort for Senator C.B. Embry. They had written an essay and were selected to represent Butler County through a program sponsored by BC Family Resource Center. They were invited to speak as part of the annual observance of Constitution Week by the NSDAR.

Turn Morgantown Pink 2018

For the 8th Annual Turn Morgantown Pink, several gathered on the courthouse lawn to celebrate survivors, memories of those who fought and are no longer with us and to unite in hope for the cure for all cancers.  This event, originally orchestrated by Audrey Pendley, has continued to grow each year since is its inception being held during October, which is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
