Charles joined the United States Army when in February 1964, At the old age of 19 years old. His basic training in Fort Polk, Louisiana then to AIT in Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

It is with pleasure that I announce that Aubrey Hall has been selected as the Business Student of the Month for October for the Butler County Area Technology Center.

The holidays are quickly approaching. While holidays give people time to spend with loved ones, all the extra purchases for gifts, food and decorations can quickly escalate. If you have not been saving all year, you might be starting to feel the financial pinch that can come with the season.

The 61st annual meeting and dinner of the five Butler County Rural Development Clubs was held on Saturday, October 27, in the newly relocated Extension Service Office located at 102 Parkway Lane in the freshly remodeled former Pamida building.

Join us for a Wedding Shower honoring Chanda Hampton and Cody McLellan.

Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm at the Aberdeen Baptist Church Ministry Center.

They are registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and Target.

Morgantown High School Class of 1953 met for their 65th class reunion on October 13th.  They enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church of Morgantown , Ky. 

They enjoyed great fellowship and remembering their high school days. They agreed to meet the second Saturday in October of 2019 for their 66th reunion. 

This class entered high school with approximately 75 members and had 42 graduates. Currently, 22 of those graduates are still living. Their class senior sponsor was Novella Embry.
