Over 500 people gathered in the Butler County High School gym Saturday night for a benefit for Butler County residents Steven and Shera Lindsey.

Four students from Butler County High School participated in KMEA All State Chorus in Louisville February 6 – 8. Matthew Johnson, Braden Tichenor, Tiler Yates, and James Clark, pictured, auditioned in October and were among 600 across Kentucky chosen to take part in the three days’ activities.

Butler County High School/Area Technology Center has added on to the list of clubs with a new organization called DECA, which stands for Distributive Education Clubs of America.

Butler County Drug Free wants to make the public aware of JUUL.  Increased use among middle and high schoolers is a major concern.

During the five years that Susan Meredith was the Director of the Butler County Animal Shelter several changes took place that were both beneficial to the animals and residents alike.

Butler County Middle School recently recognized its 8th grade student-athletes in cheer and boys' basketball.  Each student-athlete was honored along with their parents.  

Morgantown Elementary celebrated their students and classes of the month on Friday.
