Butler County ATC DECA Club Attends State Conference

Kayla Green, Haley Shedd, and Rayna Beller

The Butler County ATC DECA club attended the KY State Conference from March 3rd-5th in Louisville, KY. Three students attended; Kayla Green, Haley Shedd, and Rayna Beller. The students took the KY Free Enterprise Exam and placed 2nd and 3rd. It was an eye-opener since there were over 1,000 in attendance and they had a great time networking with other students from around the state.

Spring Playschool 2019

The Butler County Child Development classes will conduct a Playschool for preschool children.  The days will be Tuesdays for 2 ½ and 3 year-olds, Thursdays for 4 year-olds and Fridays for 5 year-olds; however, we are willing to work with parents on scheduling.  Children who are presently enrolled in kindergarten are not eligible to attend.  All children must be potty-trained.

Butler County Students Travel to SkyPac

Morgantown Elementary and North Butler Elementary students in 3rd and 4th grade enjoyed a great performance at SKyPAC in Bowling Green  Through the use of SKyPAC donor funding  students were able to see the ArtsPower National Touring Theatre's beloved Laura Ingalls Wilder, which chronicles the exciting adventures of the Ingalls family as they travel across the prairie in search of a little house to call home.

Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program

Community Action of Souther Kentucky will begin the "Crisis" portion of the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) that provides heating assistance to eligible households.

To be eligible for Crisis Assistance the household must meet all of the regular program eligibility criteria plus:
