JEEP POKER RUN

On Saturday, October 26, the Morgantown KY Jeepers held a benefit poker ride for Kylee Fowler's family.  Kylee is the daughter of Casey and Susan Fowler.  She was born fourteen weeks premature on July 14 and was released last week after a 13-week stay at Vanderbilt University Hospital.

Methodist Women Taster's Luncheon

The Butler County United Methodist Women will host their semi-annual Tasters' Luncheon on Friday, November 1 from 11:00 to 1:00 in the Fellowship Hall of Morgantown United Methodist Church on Main Street. This SOUPER Luncheon will offer delicious soups, sandwiches, desserts and drink.

County Attorney Dick Deye and Chief Giles Taylor, MPD

  It's not the Energizer Bunny or Forrest Gump you see each morning going nonstop alongside the sidewalks and streets of Morgantown picking up trash; it's our county's very own Dick Deye. Most people know him as our county attorney; however, the morning routine he has developed has nothing to do with his position; it has to do with his heart.

Richland Church hosts Fall In Love With Jesus Conference

Saturday, October 19, over 150 women gathered at Richland Baptist Church for their “Fall in Love with Jesus” Women’s Conference. Janesa Webster and Dana Pendley performed a skit, Hannah Embry led the praise and worship, and Jessica Able, from Beechmont, gave her testimony. Amy Fields, from Nashville, Tennessee, was the main speaker. Women from Butler, Daviess, Logan, Muhlenberg, Ohio, and Warren Counties attended.
