Crews in Butler, Edmonson, Logan, Todd and Warren Counties have been and are currently out treating the roads. Butler and Edmonson County have been the hardest hit so far. There are reports of multiple crashes on the Natcher Parkway in the northern part of Warren County and into Butler County.

The following Western Kentucky University students from Warren and surrounding counties were named to the Dean’s and President’s lists for the fall 2014 semester. Full-time undergraduate students with a semester grade-point average of 3.4 to 3.79 are named to the Dean’s List.

The Morgantown Police Department (M.P.D.) made two promotions during the Morgantown City Council meeting on Thursday night. Sergeant Paul Burden was promoted to the rank of captain and Officer Denny Deweese was promoted to the rank of sergeant.
