The 60th Butler County Rural Development Annual Meeting will be Saturday night, October 28th at the Eva Hawes Agriculture Exposition Center at 6:00 p.m.  Each year the Rural Development clubs come together to celebrate the year’s accomplishments.  This year the clubs will be celebrating 60 years of progress.  Attendees will enjoy a wonderful holiday style meal prepared by the clubs.  There will be musical entertainment by Maggie Drake. Roger Givens will present information about the changes in Butler County life since 1957.  There will be a short business session during the program, but the focus of the night is on celebrating 60 years of progress.  The Rural Development Steering Committee wants to invite everyone in the community to come celebrate with them during this special program.
