Community Ag Safety Day

Morgantown, KY, August 30, 2017– Butler County FFA and Progressive Ag will be sponsoring a Safety Day on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Eva Hawes Community Building located in the Morgantown City Park. All families are invited to attend with their families from 9 AM till 12 Noon.
Interactive presentations will be made on a number of safety topics to help our Butler County families learn about safety concerns and ways to improve the overall safety of children and adults living in our community.
Mrs. Lee Ann Daugherty, FFA Advisor at Butler County High School and the coordinator for the safety day said “We want to invite families of all ages to come and learn how to keep each other safe. Please come join us”.
Sessions will include Fire Safety, Lawnmower safety, Grain Bin Safety, Utility Safety, Bicycle Safety, Pet Safety and more. Door prizes will be given away such as a family set of bicycle helmets and fire extinguishers. There is no fee to participate and the sessions are repeated multiple times so you can move freely through them as you choose. All attendees will receive a goodie bag and a free t-shirt compliments of Progressive Ag Safety and our gracious sponsors.
