Spring Playschool 2019

The Butler County Child Development classes will conduct a Playschool for preschool children. The days will be Tuesdays for 2 ½ and 3 year-olds, Thursdays for 4 year-olds and Fridays for 5 year-olds; however, we are willing to work with parents on scheduling. Children who are presently enrolled in kindergarten are not eligible to attend. All children must be potty-trained.

If you wish to submit your child’s name, please call 526-2204 (BCHS) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. You will need parent contact information, the child’s date of birth and the child’s t-shirt size (YM, YL, S, etc. You may also email Mrs. Embry at [email protected] The deadline for enrolling children in Playschool is Friday, March 22.

Children will receive invitations in the mail the week of spring break. Playschool will begin April 11, 12 or 16 depending upon the age of the child and will continue through four weeks. Graduation is tentatively scheduled for Friday, May 10 at 9:00 a.m.

All children who wish to attend must have the names submitted this year. A child who attended Playschool last year will not automatically be placed on the list.

The fee for attending will be $20 per child; this includes lunch and materials for four sessions and a t-shirt. Playschool will be conducted from 8:15 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. each day. Any questions about this program may be directed to Kimberlea Embry, Family and Consumer Science Teacher at BCHS.
