James LeGrand

James Clark LeGrand,  80, of Roundhill, Kentucky, died at his residence on Sunday, August 21, 2011.

The Butler County native was the son of the late Harrison and Carrie LeGrand and husband of the late Eunice Louise LeGrand.   He installed gas pumps and septic tanks, was of the Baptist faith, and had a love for his cats.

Funeral Service: 2 pm Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Smith Funeral Home with Chaplin Bobby Ward officiating.  Burial will be in the Youngtown Cemetery.

Visitation: Tuesday, August 23, 2011, from 4:30 until 9 pm, Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 8 am until funeral at Smith Funeral Home.


5 Daughters: Kathy Simmons and husband James of Florida, Shelia LeGrand of Roundhill, Katherine “Tiny” Cardwell and husband Tommy of Bowling Green, Brenda Llamos of Bowling Green,and Bonnie “Jackie” Cardwell and Tony of Bowling Green.

1 Son: James “Buddy” LeGrand and wife Sabrina of Bowling Green, Kentucky

Adopted Grandchildren: Shannon Lindsey and husband Monty of Brownsville, Kentucky and Kevin Cardwell of Bowling Green, Kentucky.

2 Brothers: Robert and James LeGrand both of Central City, Kentucky

3 Sisters: Alice Martin of Central City, Mary Jane McKinney of Morgantown, and Lorine Kirby of Bowling Green, Kentucky

He was preceded in death by: son, Jackie Glenn LeGrand, Sisters, Marene Hood and Patsy LeGrand, Brother, Steve LeGrand, and Grandchildren, Neicy LeGrand, Sue Dolly LeGrand, and Steven Cardwell
