Invitation for Construction Bid
Sealed Proposals for furnishing all labor, material and equipment required for the replacement of 8 HVAC units and the necessary wiring and controls to operate them for the Butler County Extension Service will be received by the Owner at 102 Parkway Lane Morgantown, Kentucky 42261.
Bids will be received until no later than Friday, January 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. local time. Bids will be opened publicly on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 3 p.m. local time.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the project site, Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. local time. The project site and building is located at 102 Parkway Lane, Morgantown, Kentucky. Inspections should be made at this time. Inspections may be made at other times convenient to the Extension staff. Inspections will end at 4 p.m. local time.
Bidding instructions and any other bid documents are available for pickup at the Butler County Extension Service, 102 Parkway Lane, Morgantown, KY from December 6-23, 2021 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. local time and resume from January 4-7, 2022 from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. local time.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof.
The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner and to reject any bid if evidence or information submitted by the bidder does not satisfy the Owner that the Bidder is qualified to carry out the requirements of the Contract Documents.
BIDDING INSTRUCTIONS: Bidders should develop a bid to replace 8 HVAC units and their controls, and whatever wiring, plumbing, sealing or other construction may be required to make them air and water tight and operational. Bids should include any and all labor and materials to complete the HVAC project. Bids should include removal and disposal of current HVAC units and their controls or other components currently in use.
