I remember an old hymn the title of which said: “ Tell me the stories of Jesus;( write on my heart every word”.) 

“Jesus went about doing good”, the bible tells us. Here’s one: Jesus came upon a group of men taking a woman out to be stoned to death, he imagined the situation. “ She was caught in the very out of the sin of adultery”, they said. “ Our law says she must be stoned to death.”

 “Our law” (not God’s law). The jewish leaders made their own laws. The laws of  the scribes and the pharisee’s langley … jewish rulers of the law you’ll notice, Jesus didn't harrang them and give them a good chewing out for what they were about to do. He got their attention, and in his own quiet way said to them: 

“ Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.” A hush fell on the group. One by one they each began to turn and walk away. Jesus then said to the woman,

“They don't condemn you; neither do I. Go and sin no more.” God Bless
