On December 29th and 30th, Butler County Middle School hosted its first annual Christmas Invitational, sponsored by State Farm Agent Baker Gardner.  December 29th featured 7th grade basketball action with Burns Middle School, Grayson County Middle, and Edmonson County Middle in attendance, and December 30th featuring 8th grade action. With 1st and 2nd place awarded for each day and each game awarding a player of the game.  

“It is a busy time of year, but with the cold weather, it’s a great time to play basketball.” Explained Coach Cody Donaldson. “We saw some great games and had a great time meeting people from all over the region.”

The BCMS season continues on Tuesday (1-2-18) at home as Glasgow comes to town. Tip at 5:30pm.  The 8th grade season continues to be an impressive one with a season record of 23-3, with key wins over Muhlenberg North, Barren County, South Warren, Allen County, Drakes Creek, Ohio County, and Burns Middle.
