Butler County Bassmasters travel to Lake Malone

Butler County Bassmasters held their first regular season tournament for the 2017 season at Lake Malone Saturday March the 25th. It was an extremely windy day but the weather cooperated and the storms in the area held off until the tournament was finished. The lake conditions were good with 55 fish being brought to the weigh scale for a total weight of 148.77 pounds for the tournament, with all fish being released alive back into Lake Malone. 30 boats participated in the tournament with Ryan Coleman and David Coleman taking 1st place with 14.64 lbs.,

2nd Bryant Elms and John Alsip 13.36 lbs.,

3rd Daniel Cardwell and Nathan Neighbors 12.19 lbs.,

 

4th Glenn Ingram and Maurice Crowder 11.56 lbs.

 

Big Bass was a giant 6.28 lb Largemouth caught by Ryan Jackson.

The next BCB event will be an open tournament at Lake Beshear in Dawson Springs, Saturday April the 15th. Tournament starts at 6:30 AM with weigh-in at 2:30 PM. Entry fee will be $40.00/boat. Come on out for a great day of fishing.
