Butler County Bassmasters held their fourth tournament of the year at Rough River Lake in Falls of Rough, KY on Saturday, May 11^th.  With the recent heavy rains, the lake was 8 ft. above summer pool, which really spread the fish out.  Plenty of fish were caught, but the fluctuating water made it much more difficult to catch keeper sized bass. 

Danny Cardwell and Chris Phelps took 1^st place with 10.78 lbs, 2^nd Garrett Leach and Jimmy Leach 10.40 lbs., 3^rd Mike Gary and Zach Gary 9.46 lbs. Big bass of the tournament went to Mike Gary and Zach Gary with a 4.37 lb largemouth. 

The next BCB event will be a regular season tournament at Nolin Lake on Saturday May 18^th. The tournament starts at 6:30 AM with weigh-in at 2:30 PM. Entry fee will be $40.00/boat.  The annual $10/person membership fee is required to fish this tournament. Come on out for a great day of fishing.
