Bears roll off three straight wins before falling to Patriots

The Butler County boys' basketball team returned to the winning column last week, rattling off three consecutive wins before falling on the road to Allen County-Scottsville.  During that span, the Bears defeated Frederick Fraize, 12th District rival Trinity (Whitesville), and McLean County - a Third Region opponent.

As a team, Butler County hit twenty 2-point field goals and ten 3-point goals; the Bears were 2 for 3 from the free throw line.
