Bears Go 1-2 at North American Stainless Classic
Carroll County was the site of the Butler County High School Bears first holiday tournament last week for the North American Stainless Classic. The Bears went 1-2 for the tournament, which began December 21 and ran through December 23. Butler County dropped a 61-43 decision to Gallatin on Wednesday; won a hard-fought, triple overtime thriller 93-91 over Trimble County on Thursday; and fell to Hancock County 59-56 in a Third Region rematch on Friday.
Butler County placed four players in double figures in its victory against Trimble County, including a 25-point performance by Trevor Jenkins.
