BCMS Lady Bears' 8th graders, parents recognized

On Monday, December 4th the 8th grade Lady Bears were recognized for their hard work and dedication this season. Many have played for BCMS since they were in 6th grade.

“I appreciate all the effort these girls have put forth this season. I wish them the best,” said BCMS head coach Barry Frazier.

Below are the 2017 BCMS basketball 8th graders and their parents.

Bella Akers: parents are Kimberly Akers and Mike Akers

Kristen Blunk: parents are Wesley and Jennifer Ralph

Kenzi Bryant: parents are Danielle and Billy Bryant

Gracie Cardwell: parents are Chad and Leslie Cardwell

Taylin Clark: parents are Derrick Clark and Kayla and Tracy Hack

Victoria Deweese: parents are Amy and Darrell Deweese

Gracie Elms: parents are Jason and Debbie Elms

Graci Leach: parents are Todd and Tina Leach

Jaelyn Taylor: parents are Malinda and William Taylor

The BCMS girls' hold the number one seed going into conference tournament and finished with an impressive 20-2 regular season record. . They will be in action at the GRVC Tournament this Saturday, December 9th at Muhlenberg South. Tip-off is at 2:00 p.m.
