Four Butler County High School students have been recommended by faculty/staff members for October student of the month honors based on attendance, promptness to class, participation in class, grades or attitude.  These students are Felicia Hale, Trevor Jenkins, Brandon Jones, and Darrah McElwain.   

Felicia is the 12th grade daughter of Deanna Russ and James Hale.  She enjoys working.  Her future plans are to attend WKU and become a special education teacher.

Trevor Jenkins is the 11th grade son of Chelcey and Deanna Jenkins.  He participates in basketball and golf.  His future plans are to graduate high school and attend college.

Darrah is the 9th grade daughter of Stacy McElwain.  She is involved in marching band.  Her future plans are to attend college at the University of Kentucky.
