Walton Jackson Jenkins

Walton Jackson Jenkins 71 of Morgantown passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 10, 2011.  The Butler County native was the son of the late Jackie and Lula Orange Jenkins. 
He was a drywall installer and of the Presbyterian faith.
Funeral service: Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at 1:00 pm at Caney Fork Presbyterian Church . Burial will be in the Caney Fork Cemetery
Visitation: Monday from 2:30 pm until 8:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home.  He will lie in state at the Caney Fork Presbyteriam Church from 11:00am until funeral time on Tuesday.

Marvin Eugene Elder

Marvin Eugene Elder, 70 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at his son's residence in Scottsville, Ky. 
He was a Butler County native, son of the late Dud and Carrie Phelps Elder.
He was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and Woodbury Masonic Lodge and retired breadman. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Ky 5872 Scottsville Rd. Bowling Green, Ky 42104. He was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Elder.

William Randel Goodall

William Randel Goodall, 72,  of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was a Warren County native, son of the late Lawrence and Nola Haynes Goodall and a member of Woodbury Missionary Baptist Church. Goodall was a U. S. Army Veteran and retired from Holley Carburetors after 38 years. He was preceded in death by four brothers:   David, Ernest, Kenneth and Roenell Goodall; and one sister, Margie Goodall.

Zakry Jon Adkins, 14 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 5, 2011, at his residence. 
He was a Daviess County native. Zakry attended Morgantown First Baptist Church and was an 8th grade student at Butler County Middle School.
Zakry Jon Adkins is survived by his mother Joyce R. Hallam of Morgantown, Ky; 3 sisters Stacey Bridges of Morgantown, Ky, Niki Adkins of Morgantown, Ky and Brandie Jo Bacon of Illinois; 3 brothers Chad Ray Bridges and wife Ashley of Morgantown, Ky, Richard Grimwood of North Carolina and JJ Dunn and wife Low of Alaska.

Hannah Nicole Blunk

Hannah Nicole Blunk, 21, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011 in a auto accident near Morgantown.  She was a Warren County native, 2008 graduate of Butler County High School, and was employed at Express Tan in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  She was preceded in death by grandparents James W. and Allean Embry; grandparent Vannie Blunk; grandparent W.C. Eliza Elizabeth Grise

Eliza Elizabeth Grise 90, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2011, at Hillview Health Care in Tennessee.
 
The Quality native was born August 9, 1921. She was the daughter of the late James Davis and Minnie Tanner, and the wife of the late James William Grise. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include: daughters; Gail Wilson of Knoxville, TN, and Wanda Grise Ibrahim of Elizabethtown, TN, son Hylan Grise (Becky) of Quality, KY, 5 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

Francis Cox Henderson

Francis Cox Henderson, 70 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011, at her residence.

She was a Butler County native, daughter of the late Otis and Geneva Cardwell Cox. She was a member of Barnett’s Lick Missionary Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by one son Ronnie Henderson and one son in law Danny Cook.

Shirley Hubbard

Shirley “Nanny” Jeanne Hubbard, 68, of Butler County, died at 1:41 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011, at The Medical Center.

The Anna native was born Sept. 26, 1942. She was surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren when she entered Heaven to be with her Jesus. She was retired from Union Underwear and the Warren County Board of Education, having worked at Moss Middle School. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Bowling Green. She was a daughter of the late Henry Brown Cline and Buelah Miller Cline of Bowling Green, who survives.

Jerlene Wallace

Jerlene C. Wallace, 86, of McDaniels, died Thursday, August 4, 2011, at University of Louisville Hospital. The Butler County native was a homemaker. She was a daughter of the late Addie Colburn Lindsey and Jasper Lindsey.

Services are private. Cremation was chosen. Arrangements are under the direction of Jones Funeral Chapel.
