N.E. Reed elected to Warren RECC Board of Directors

N. E. Reed

Former Edmonson County Judge Executive Noah E. (N.E.) Reed is the newest member of Warren RECC’s Board of Directors.  Reed was elected by a majority of the members who voted in Tuesday night’s Annual Membership Meeting held at South Warren High School in Bowling Green.  Reed replaces Rebecca L. Goad, who represented District 4 (Barren and Edmonson Counties) for over 30 years.
Reed served 21 years as judge executive for Edmonson County.  He has extensive working knowledge and experience in dealing with state and federal agencies.  Reed said his goal is to be accessible and responsive to the members of Warren RECC and to work at providing the best power at an affordable rate and in a reliable manner.
“I look forward to working with the other members of the Board, staff, and employees at Warren RECC.  I have always been a supporter and friend to Warren RECC.  I truly believe in the cooperative business model and its guiding principles,” said Reed.
“We congratulate Mr. Reed and we look forward to working with him.  Mr. Reed brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, and those qualities will he beneficial to our membership as we continue to work closely with state and federal officials and agencies to limit regulations which could adversely affect the future of affordable electricity,” said Warren RECC President and CEO W. Scott Ramsey.
Ramsey expressed his gratitude to Goad for her work.  “The Board, staff, employees and I want to thank Becky Goad for her 30-plus years of dedicated service to Warren RECC and its members.  Becky worked tirelessly to help, not only members of District 4, but all Warren RECC members.”
