With over 23 years of banking experience, Jennifer Hammer has been named the new Market President at PBI Bank in Morgantown.  The announcement was made internally early this month and Hammer is already settling into her new position.  She replaces Jarod Amos, who is now the Market President at PBI Bank Northside in Beaver Dam.  Hammer has been with PBI for over three and a half years and has worked primarily as a business development officer (loan officer).

Hammer is looking forward to the many responsibilities associated with her new position.  "I am very excited about this new position and the opporunity to serve as market president," said Hammer.  "I have a great staff and I believe you're only as good as the team you work with and we have a great team at PBI."

Hammer, who will oversee management of bank operations as market president, stated that Branch Manager Andrea Hunt will still be managing the day-to-day operations.  She will also continue to work as loan officer and looks forward to serving existing customers and meeting new ones.  Hammer pointed to one promotion currently in place at PBI mortgage closing as low as $499.

Community involvement is one area of emphasis that Hammer will continue and has plans to expand as market president.  Among other areas, Hammer plans to build on partnerships with the local Boys and Girls Club, Butler County Schools, and the Morgantown Butler County Chamber of Commerce.

"Community involvement is important and we want to increase our presence in the community," said Hammer.

Hammer also said a remodeling project is slated for the Morgantown facility.

"A complete interior renovation is planned in approximately eight to nine months and we're looking forward to that," said Hammer.

Jennifer Hammer is married to husband Ray Hammer, who is the principal at the Butler County Area Technology Center.  They have two sons, ages 12 and 7. who attend Morgantown Elementary.
