There will be an area set up for the public to come have an “outdoors yard sale”.  This area is completely for the public to sell their extra lures, reels, rods, bows, outdoor clothing, knives, or any other hunting or fishing related gear (NO GUNS FOR SALE PLEASE).  Space is limited in this area, so get there early to get a spot.

Seminars will also be given.  Danny Cardwell of Butler County Bassmasters will be speaking on the basics of targeting bass and eliminating water on river systems at 12:00pm.  Danny has won multiple tournaments on area rivers, contributed to Kentucky Afield magazine, and is a 4 time BCB Classic Champion.  Dave Skinner of Whitetail Properties and Barren River QDMA will be speaking on food plot management at 1:00 pm.  Dave is a level 3 Steward with QDMA. This is prime time to begin managing your food plots for a successful fall season, so stop by and get some tips from Dave on how to better manage your land.

BCB will be giving away door prize packages hourly consisting of BCB apparel, decals, and gear from their sponsors.  The Grand Prize package will also include an ABU Garcia Black Max bait casting reel courtesy of Barren Outdoors.  There will also be raffles, with items including a Halo Daylite series rod/Diawa Lexa 100 reel combo, an autographed by Bassmaster Classic Champion Mike Iaconelli, and a ScentBlocker Thunder Chicken turkey vest (stop by the Butler County Bassmasters booth to enter raffles).  Several exhibitors and sponsors will also be giving away door prizes.  The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources will have an information booth discussing regulation changes for 2015 hunting and fishing.  We are blessed to live in a region that offers some of the best fishing and hunting opportunities available anywhere in the country. Butler County Bassmasters and Whitetail Properties, Boyce Flener are hoping this event will showcase the local sporting clubs and agencies available in our area and the techniques and equipment available to be a successful outdoorsman.  Admission is $5 for adults, children 15 and under FREE.  Raffle drawings will be held at 2:00pm (must be present to win).
